Production Follow-up / During the run

Production Follow-up

How a project is followed while it is being produced: the checkpoints in their order, who holds each one, what the bulk is held against, and how a point is taken up and agreed before the run continues.

01 / Sequence

What is followed, in what order.

Four checkpoints sit along the run. Each one names an owner, the reference it is held against and what is recorded. They are a sequence, not a schedule: no date, duration or milestone window is published here.

  1. 01

Material preparation and the pre-production check

Material is prepared for the run, and the incoming material is checked before production starts.

    Owner
Supplier prepares the material; the pre-production check is run by QC or by the order-following team.
    Held against
The approved sample and the order specification — material, size, colour and packaging as confirmed at sampling.
    Recorded
The pre-production material check, kept as one step in the order's quality chain.
  2. 02

Production followed against the confirmed sample

The run is followed while it is in progress. The order-following team stays in contact with the factory and takes up production questions as they come up.

    Owner
Merchandising (the order-following team), in contact with the supplier.
    Held against
The confirmed sample: material, size, colour and packaging as the client approved them.
    Recorded
Follow-up notes, and any change, delivery-date question or quality point, together with how it was agreed to be handled.
  3. 03

    Packaging readiness

Packing is the supplier's own step in the run. It is prepared to what the order specifies, because the packaging is part of what the client receives.

    Owner
Supplier packs, against the packaging requirement agreed on the order.
    Held against
The packaging confirmed on the sample, and the packaging requirement agreed on the order.
    Recorded
The packed goods enter the pre-shipment check, where the product and its packaging are both examined and the result is reported.
  4. 04

    Pre-shipment preparation

Once the run is complete, the goods are prepared and presented for the pre-shipment check before anything leaves the factory. A bulk sample is sent where the order calls for one.

    Owner
QC Division runs the check; the documentation team handles shipment documents after the written release.
    Held against
Industry standards, applied together with the client's particular requirements and concerns as agreed on the order.
    Recorded
An inspection report with photographs and video, and a bulk sample where the order calls for one. Nothing is shipped until the client approves the result in writing.
02 / Specification consistency

What the bulk is held against, and what happens when something differs.

The bulk is not measured against a fresh opinion formed mid-run. It is held against what was approved before production started.

Approved sample
Material, size, colour and packaging as the client confirmed them at sampling. That sample is the reference the bulk is held against.
Order specification
The requirements agreed on the order, including the custom packaging and the particular points the client asked to have checked.
Standards in use
Industry standards, applied together with the client's specific requirements and concerns rather than on their own.
When something differs
The difference is described to the factory and to the client. A change of requirement, a delivery-date question or a quality point is taken up with both sides before the order continues.
Rules set per order
Sampling, rectification and re-checking rules, and any refund, rework, replacement or claim terms, are agreed on the order. This page publishes no fixed standard for them.
03 / Issue escalation

Raised with the factory, brought to the client, agreed before the order continues.

A delivery-date question, a change of requirement or a quality point is handled in that order. The words below describe the escalation sequence, not the state of any particular order.

  1. 01

    Raised with the factory

    Raised with the factory

The order-following team takes the point up with the factory, which prepares the material, produces the goods, cooperates with the checks and carries out rectification.

  2. 02

    Brought to the client

    Brought to you

A change, a delivery-date question or a quality point is communicated to the client. Client-side matters are held by the business team.

  3. 03

    Agreed before the order continues

    Agreed before continuing

The order resumes on one reading of the situation, reached by the client and the company. Refund, compensation, rework, re-checking and responsibility terms stay as agreed on the order.

04 / Updates

How updates are sent is agreed on the order.

This page publishes no fixed update rhythm, and nothing on it is live tracking data.

Per order

The frequency of updates, what each one reports and the format it arrives in are agreed with you on the order, so that the reporting matches the decisions in front of you. No frequency, report template or response time is promised on this page.

What an update can cover: where the run has reached in the sequence above, what has been checked and recorded at that point, and anything that was raised, together with how it was agreed to be handled. The written form of the sample approval, the inspection report and the shipping approval is confirmed on the order as well.

The procurement flow, stage by stage, is on our process page; what follows the written release is on project delivery.

05 / Field evidence

What the record looks like.

Three placeholder frames, each labelled with the size it should be replaced at. They show the moments a production record is made of, not a live feed.

Bring the requirement and the sample you approved.

Send the product requirement and the points you want checked during the run. Our team will say what can be followed, what has to be agreed on the order and when a written result is issued. Production timelines are set on the order, not on this page.
